At last! a 3 Column Blog template

Ha! after several earlier failures to migrate to a 3 column Blogger template, it has finally been achieved. It does in some ways help to organise materials on display. Now, to work on rearranging the “house”.

The 3 Column template magically removed a stubborn top background border at the Blog Header. Now, I can do without the Tab Menu on top of the Header since now there is more sidebar space where it can now be housed.

Another plus is that the 3 Column template shortens the Blog by almost half and that means not having to use the mouse scroll as much as before.

Hmmmm, I have to find a way to include a Cloud Label in Blogger because the one that comes packed with Google’s Blogger page element is so UGLY. I failed to succeed last week. I have seen some really pretty Cloud Labels like those that are displayed at WordPress Blogs.

I must be PERFECT and so too is my Blog

It is now into the third month since I first began weB LOGing. It’s been a lonesome journey to say the least. I wonder just how many Bloggers out there share the same feelings as I do.

My reason for saying this? Well, for whatever it is worth, the Blogpatrol.com displays 595 visits as of instance. Google rates my Blog a big fat zer0 and so does Kineda rate me a “D Blogger”.

At this rate I shall end up being the Best Zombie Blogger in blogosphere.

On a much happier note, there is a good variety of Visitors from various countries even though my Visitors do not make a Comment. That either means that my Posts are next to perfection or downright stupid to be commented on.

Please do not get me wrong. This is not a rant or an early sign of surrender. Another few more months blogging in this manner and I would turn out to be a polished soliloquist.

You know, perhaps I ought to change the medium of this Blog and post pornography material. Get what I mean?

BBB = Blogger Backlink Bug

Back in my younger years, BBB would mean Beautiful Big Bumper for the sturdy Volvo automobiles. To others BBB could also mean Beautiful Big Boobs!
But over here BBB would mean Blogger Backlink Bug which I found out this afternoon. I was unaware that the “Links to Post” at the foot of all the Posts in the main column was not working the way it ought to.

Whenever I clicked on “Links to Post” it would bring me to a browser page that declared -

The blog you were looking for was not found.

I must have previously done something to the Blog’s template to have caused this to happen but for the life of me I can’t remember what exactly it was that I did. As you can well see, I have done a good amount of tweaks at my Blog. So, it could have been just about anything and to redo the entire Blog template from scratch would be such a pain.

So, finally with the help of Permalink script, I managed to place the backlink alongside the time/date label. I then got rid of Blogger’s “Links to Post” script and everything back honky dory! Besides, the Permalink looks much more impressive that Blogger’s “Links to Post”.

Having said all that for BBB, there is another BBB. This one means Beautiful Blogger Banner! It has cheered up the Post footer. I saved an image of Bloggers Web2.0 “Comments”, uploaded it to Photobucket, gave it a script and had it wedged into the exact spot on the Blog’s template.

There are other smaller things that I have been potting around at the Blog. Some of these are visually obvious – so I won’t need to write about it unless you have a question or two to ask about it.
